This is a biocompatible resin designed for 3D printing that cures when exposed to light. It’s used in the creation of templates for dental implant procedures, X-ray guides, and bite splints. Any unpolymerized residues can be removed in a two-step process using isopropanol in an ultrasonic cleaning device. For the final curing step, it’s recommended to use light polymerization units with LED lights or xenon flashlights in an inert gas environment. This product is classified as a Class I medical device.
Advantages:
- Reliable processing due to its high initial hardness and ultimate strength
